A bilingual marketing site with technical SEO done right, pages under 50KB, an AI chatbot streaming answers from a self-hosted model, and privacy-first analytics — everything running on infrastructure I built and operate.

What's under the hood

Technical SEO: semantic HTML5, Schema.org JSON-LD (ProfessionalService, FAQPage, Article), Open Graph cards, canonical URLs, a sitemap with hreflang alternates per page, and Search Console wired in.
Bilingual architecture: English at the root, Spanish under /es/ with reciprocal hreflang per page — each language ranks for its own audience without competing against itself.
Performance: static pages, inline CSS, a single self-hosted variable font, gzip, smart cache headers. No frameworks, no bloat — Core Web Vitals stay green.
AI chatbot: the floating chat answers questions about services using a local LLM (Ollama) on my own server — streamed token by token, rate-limited against abuse, bilingual, with a keep-warm job so the first token arrives in about a second. Same stack as this case study.
Privacy-first analytics: self-hosted Umami — no cookies, no data sold to ad networks, full visibility of what content converts.
Infrastructure: Debian VPS, Docker, nginx with TLS, hardened with CrowdSec/fail2ban, monitored and backed by my own tooling.
